If the sound on a PC is
skipping, do the following:
In the control panel

Go
to sound
·
Click
the audio tab
·
On
the Default Device click Advanced
·
Click
the Performance Tab
·
On
the Hardware Acceleration go to the
second click which is Basic Acceleration
