Setting Resolution in Windows XP

This feature determines how small or large icons and text appear on your desktop

1. Right click on desktop
2. Choose properties
3. Click Settings tab
4. Where it says Screen Resolution, drag the little bar to the left such that it reads 800 by 600 pixels
5. Click ok
6. Sometimes (depending on settings) a window will open asking if you want to keep these setting; if so click yes
