Ink Layer or Transparency - Control and Options

(This is the action that takes place when you pick up a pen from the pen tray)


If you do NOT want a snapshot taken every time you use your pen, and if you want the transparency layer  to merely disappear when you replace the pen in the tray (rather than having to close the transparency with the red x), make the following changes to your Smart Drivers:

 

Go to the Start menu, to All Programs / Smart Technologies / Smart Board Drivers / Control Panel. The window that opens looks like the picture below:

 

Click on the Configure Smart Tools link to see a window like the picture below:

 

Click on the Ink Layer Settings link to see a window like the picture below. Take the check out of the bottom two boxes (in Behavior section)
