Removing a Transferred Student from a Class

Sometimes a student leaves your school. In order to prevent the scores of that student (who will not be taking tests because he has left) from adversely affecting that teachers class average, someone at the school with administration privileges (tech coordinator or SALT teacher) should unenroll the student from that teachers class. To do that, you must

• Log into the OAS with you admin login
• Click on Class tab
• Click Modify class link
• Choose the teachers class
• Scroll down and move the student (who is no longer at your school) from the right hand column to the left-hand column. It reads as though he is being deleted, but he will merely be moved out of that teachers class
• Then click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

This way he or she will not ruin scores for the class, but if he returns he can be reenrolled with his previous scores in tact.
