Aligning or Coordinating Type Sets with Classes

Remember, a Type Set is simply a set of grading rules, or a grading system. You may have the same system for all subjects, or you may use a different system for different subjects. If you use a different grading system for different subjects (or classes), then you must align them. Once you have created your new Type Sets (as explained in the Setting up your "Type Sets" link, you must then align them with classes. It only takes a few short steps:

Go to the Setup menu and choose Classes

• Select a class from the list on the left-hand side of the window
• Choose the corresponding or appropriate Type Set for this class using the dropdown menu next to 'Task Type Set'

*** If the dropdown menu has no type sets, or you do not see the one you want, it means you have not yet created a type set for that class

***Remember, if you use the same grading system for all classes, you can use the same Type Set for all classes
