Creating a One-Page Progress Report in InteGrade 9.2

By Tony Mitchell

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: One big improvement in the new version of Integrade (vs 9.2) is the ability to print multi-class progress reports by date. Previously, when printing multi-class reports for the second or third six (or nine) weeks period, all of the spreadsheets from the previous nine weeks periods showed up, increasing the length of the print out to several pages. To print progress reports to include only the present nine weeks spreadsheets, follow the steps below. Read all directions below before printing

*      You must first set the date range on each of your 3rd Nine weeks spreadsheets (not the end of term spreadsheets)

1.       Go to the Setup menu and choose spreadsheets

2.     Select the first class (usually Homeroom and Conduct) and then the 3rd Nine weeks weighted spreadsheet (not the end of term spreadsheets)

3.     Click on the Edit Date Range button toward the right and enter the 3rd nine weeks grading period dates (example for 3rd nine weeks is January 2 – March 9)

4.     Repeat this process for each 3rd nine weeks weighted spreadsheet for each class

5.     Close the Spreadsheets window

*      Go to the Reports menu and choose Multi-Class (Student Progress reports prints at least one page for each class per student; although the Multi-Class report is not as attractive, it uses much less paper and ink.)

*      Put an X in the box beside the names of the students for which you want to print a progress report, and put an X in the box beside the Classes for which you want to print grades. You may need to scroll down the Classes list and deselect Art and Music if you do not give a grade for those classes. It is also wise to initially print one progress report for only one student, to test your setup

*      The choices in shown below will print a one page progress report:

*      The choices checked below will print two pages (sometimes 3) for each student, but the assignments are listed as well as assignments missed by the student. If you only want to print one page per student, remove the check from the Show Task List box

*      Put a check in the box next to LIMIT BY DATE and enter the dates for the current nine weeks grading period (3rd nine weeks is January 2 – March 9). Click on the little square calendar icon to select dates rather than typing them in

*      Click the Next button to preview the appearance of the progress report prior to printing

*      You may view the progress report and decide to change its appearance; to do so click the Setup button in the top left-hand corner to go back to the setup screen. Make the changes you want and click Next again to preview

*      The top scroll bar leafs you through the progress reports a page at the time; the side scroll bar moves you down each page

*      Once you are satisfied with the appearance of your student progress reports, click on the Print button in the preview screen
