  • Click on the link above or go to http://www.harcourtschool.com
  • Click on the red The Learning Site link
  • Click on  the Math link in the left hand panel , and then choose an activity
    • Each computer that accesses this resource must register (this puts a cookie on the computer to allow it to get to the site). This process is only done once for each computer. Information from the teacher textbook is necessary to register the computer. Teachers may share this information with parents and students such that the resource can be accessed from home

eProducts online (These great resources  are available due to textbook purchase)

NOTE:
  1. Teachers must register with eproducts in order to have access to this component. This registration is not the same as the registration above, where a cookie is installed on the computer; this registration requires the teacher to  setup an account with a login and password.  It is suggested that teachers use either their regular username and password, or this convention: first initial of first name, last name, and three letter school code. Example: tmitchelljns. Then a class must be setup and students added. See the link below for directions for this process
  2. Some 4th and 5th grade teachers may already be registered with Harcourt. If you attended Harcourt training for the social studies  adoption last year, you are already in the system and do not have to register again to use the math components
  3. ****Students cannot use this resource until their teacher has created a class, added them to the database, and assigned them to a class
  • This component of Harcourt Math gives teachers and students access to an abundance of resources. Examples are listed below. These resources are especially useful if they can be projected for whole group instruction with a data projector or SmartBoard
    • The online textbook for teachers and for students
    • Electronic tranparencies
    • Electronic worksheets
    • Assessment ideas and tools
  • An additional resource is provided by Harcourt, the Online Assessment tool, which is a test generator, but it cannot be accessed until you, the teacher, have registered for the eproducts AND your ITS has used their administrative login to assign you the Online Assessment resource
