Additional notes
- Ignore
the various warnings concerning 256 colors
- Buggles
does not share a database between Mac and windows, so any Mac usage would
be separate. Also, before the Macs can use Buggles, a separate install
will have to take place. It is my understanding this process is in the
works
- Pause
button will work after the activity has begun, not during the directions
- Level
button: this cannot be controlled during first time participation in an
activity, but once the second session has begun (students are asked if
they want to do the activity again), then the student can click on the 1
and change the level to make the difficultly level higher
- Level
2 increase the dexterity part, not the content
- Level
3 puts a timer on the exercise, but is the same content
- The
little disk in the bottom right-hand side of the activities screen is an
indicator of lesson progress
- When a
lesson is assigned to a class, if the teacher chooses to assign a lesson
to her k-1 class (using the dropdown menu at the top of the Assignments
window), but he does not assign a lesson to that class in the 2-3 section,
then students accessing their class in the 2-3 section will choose their
lesson rather than have an assigned lesson. The way to avoid this problem is to be sure
the students use the Buggles login level (k-1 or 2-3) that correlates to
their grade level and assignments level
